Spring 2017 Jewelry Trends

Fashion designers continue to go away from bright artsy bijouterie. Fashion shows for the season 2010 have once again demonstrated that trend. In contrast, having passed fashion cordons, unpretentious jewelry made its appearance on the catwalks and seems to stay for a long time. This season most designers preferred to compliment models looks with l-2 jewelry pieces instead of making them look like a Christmas tree.

Minimum of jewelry is excellently complimented with the deliberate exaggeration in pattern and shape of clothes. The dominant colors, on the other hand, are earthly, natural and nude. That enables everything to melt into the whole harmonic picture.

The tribute to classics is paid by glorification of diamonds. Jewelry designer, William Goldberg, invited by Oscar de la Renta, has made catwalks glitter even sparkler with dazzling diamonds. Fashion designers and jewelry designers unions have turned out to be another fashion trend this season. Carmen Marc Valvos and Ben-Amuns collaboration resulted in exclusive bracelets and necklaces that decode impressiveness and proportions of Georgia OKeefes famous floral still lives. Carolina Herrera presented collections with the contrast of Verdura massive gold bracelets and feminine silhouettes, light fabrics and fabulous cut.

Jewelry designer Chris Aire has turned out to be the centre of attention this year. Among his major achievements is Feng Shui Empress Gown red- gold strapless low-cut dress modeled by Alex Wek. The hand-made masterpiece adorned with 3 713 diamonds was estimated approximately $ 50 000 000.

Heavy and classic gold chains have literally flooded the fashion shows for the coming season. Layering remains and is presented with multilayered necklaces. But now layers are less numerous and their thickness has diminished. Spotted in Charles Nolan, Ralph Lauren and Carmen Marc Valvo collections.

Pursuing minimalist trends designers gives their preference to the modest charm of elegant chains with pendants. Presented by Chado Ralph Rucci, Mark Bouwer, Akiko Ogawa.

Bracelets made their appearances in various collections, besides in some cases designers raised them above the elbow to refresh the usual perception. Baby Phat collections from Kimora Lee Simmons, Carlos Miele and Nicole Miller have captured the trend.
